You are just what a real Catholic portrays, in that you are accepting what the Church teaches and not what you want the Church to teach. Church teaching comes directly from Jesus as he is directing His Church. We have lost sight of the authority of our bishops, in that they are the same as the apostles and are given direction by Jesus just as the apostles were and we need to pay attention to what they say as they try to teach us Jesus' message.
